MARZIPAN MINCE PALMIERS
Make
your life easier this Christmas and try this quick and delicious recipe, a
great alternative to chopped pies.
Ingredients:
- 1 Orange (Grated Zest)
- 1 jar Luxury Mincemeat
- 100g Marzipan
- 1 packet Ready Rolled Puff Pastry (Remove from the fridge 10 minutes before use)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 220C and line 2 baking trays with baking parchment
- Roll the pastry out flat and spread mincemeat evenly over the surface
- Roll the pastry out flat and spread mincemeat evenly over the surface
- Grate the orange zest and marzipan over the top of the mincemeat
- Roll the long sides of the pastry towards the middle so you get 2 rolls joined together
- To make it easier to chop you can place back in the fridge for 10 minutes but if you are in a rush, the recipe will work without doing this
- Chop into 1 cm wide slices and place at even intervals on the baking trays
- Bake for 14-16 minutes until puffed and golden
- Cool on a wire rack and sprinkle with icing sugar. Enjoy your dessert!
