 MARZIPAN MINCE PALMIERS





Make your life easier this Christmas and try this quick and delicious recipe, a great alternative to chopped pies.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 Orange (Grated Zest)
  • 1 jar Luxury Mincemeat
  • 100g Marzipan
  • 1 packet Ready Rolled Puff Pastry (Remove from the fridge 10 minutes before use)

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 220C and line 2 baking trays with baking parchment
  2. Roll the pastry out flat and spread mincemeat evenly over the surface
  3. Roll the pastry out flat and spread mincemeat evenly over the surface
  4. Grate the orange zest and marzipan over the top of the mincemeat
  5. Roll the long sides of the pastry towards the middle so you get 2 rolls joined together
  6. To make it easier to chop you can place back in the fridge for 10 minutes but if you are in a rush, the recipe will work without doing this
  7. Chop into 1 cm wide slices and place at even intervals on the baking trays
  8. Bake for 14-16 minutes until puffed and golden
  9. Cool on a wire rack and sprinkle with icing sugar. Enjoy your dessert!
