The lemon smoothie is the definition of fresh for spring. It's super easy to make, but seriously so refreshing, especially as an afternoon snack. It's the perfect balance between spiciness and sweetness, plus turmeric adds a little spice and a kick.
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 cup low fat French vanilla yogurt
- In blender, combine all ingredients; blend until smooth. Serve immediately. Enjoy your drink!
