Add lobster and some deliciously creamy cheese to your mac
and cheese -- and now you've got a downright upscale romantic meal!
Ingredients
- 9 tablespoons butter
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 pound cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, plus more for garnish
- 11/2 cups crushed Ritz crackers (about 1 sleeve)
- ¼ cup flour
- 3 cups whole milk
- 11/4 cups sharp white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 11/4 cups gruyere cheese, shredded
- 1 cup fontina cheese, shredded
- 4 ounces brie, rind removed and chopped
- ¼ teaspoon mustard powder
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a baking dish with nonstick spray.2
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Boil the pasta until al-dente. You want it to have a bit of bite because it will finish cooking in the oven. Drain well.
